Only light can repel darkness. We carry light as believers and that light is Christ and His Word. It’s imperative that we share this light with others in our daily life. While many are searching for light, they are seeking it in places that are producing a counterfeit. It tries to look and sound like light, but it is not the light of Christ. It is a counterfeit which attempts to imitate the authenticity of the true light but lacks the substance and power that will produce real victory and deliverance. The Bible warns us that the enemy works as the great deceiver, “…for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light:”

 

“Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.” (John 8:12, AMPC)
