Roz Thomas is a teacher at heart with a passion for helping people grow in their relationship with God and fulfill His purpose for their life. At the age of 18, she gave her life to the Lord and knew shortly thereafter that there was a call on her life to preach the Gospel. Roz began to align her life with His plan which over time led her to move from her hometown, River Rouge, MI to Atlanta, GA.

Her journey of faith has given her a strong desire to not only encourage, but also teach people how to grow in their faith to be a light that shines and advances in the seven pillars of society (i.e. family, religion, education, business, government, media, arts and entertainment) for kingdom assignments. She is known for her teaching gift and a unique gifting to write and develop curricula and books for intentional growth. Her involvement in ministry for over 20 years in counseling, small groups, single’s ministry, campus outreach, education and curriculum development have afforded her opportunities to empower people with the necessary spiritual tools for growth.

She is particularly passionate about empowering people to know their value and worth in Christ in such a way that it transcends every area of their life. Her work in the community has included mentorship and working with domestic sex-trafficking victims and ‘at risk’ teen girls.

  • Some Things on My Bucket List: Go skydiving; Go on a hot air balloon ride; Take a ride in an open-air biplane and many more…

  • A Place I Love: Wherever there is water. I love going to lakes, ponds, being on the water, etc. I always change my wallpaper and screensavers on my devices to beaches and images of homes near the water.

  • My Major Weakness: Drinking too much coffee.

  • Great Family Memory: Family dinner at my sister’s house with my parents and cousins. My Dad is a hilarious storyteller, and when we get together it’s always lots of laughs and fun.

  • What I Miss Most About Michigan: My family! Not a fan of the cold winters. I’m still not sure how I grew up in Michigan with all of that snow and cold weather.

  • Fondest Childhood Memories: I had amazing grandparents growing up! I remember dinners at my grandparent’s home, especially around holidays. They were a big deal! My uncle would tell his famous story around Christmas about how Santa Claus robbed the bank and had us all in tears laughing…well, at least me and my cousins.
