My Faith Strategy

 

What is the foundation for your life? The parable in Matthew 7:24-27 makes a clear distinction between the wise and foolish builders. If the foundation of your life isn’t built on the Word of God, it will crumble under the tests and trials of life. There is no substitute for the Word. God’s Word has the power to bring healing, deliverance, victory, direction and endurance for any storm of life.

 

• Healing - Psalm 107:20 “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.”

• Deliverance & Victory - Psalm 119:133 “Order my steps in thy word: and let not iniquity have dominion over me.”

• Direction - Psalm 119:130 “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”

• Endurance - Psalm 119:89 “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”

 

Take a moment and write down any needs or desires you have along with a scripture that promises you the victory in that area. Take this information and write it on 3x5 note cards. On one side of the card, write down your need or desire. On the other side of the card, write out the scriptural reference along with a confession of faith. During the day, spend time reading aloud the scripture(s) and confession.

 

Example:

• Need - Healing

• Scriptures - Isaiah 53:5; I Peter 2:24

• Confession of Faith - I am healed in Jesus Name.

 

Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Faith comes by the Word, revelation comes by meditation, and confession will bring you into possession.
